Over the last 3 years, Dryden Fiber has built over 75 miles of fiber throughout town reaching over 1,500 addresses. In the next 60 days, we expect to expand our address count by an additional 1,500 addresses.

Now that the town of Dryden has been awarded a $9 million grant by the state of New York, town residents — and those of the town of Caroline — may want some answers on when they can get high-speed internet service.
Dryden, NY (June 24, 2024) Internet service in Dryden and Caroline will soon be vastly expanded, thanks to a successful grant submitted by Dryden Fiber, a broadband provider operated by the Town of Dryden. Federal, state, and local officials gathered at Dryden Town Hall today to celebrate the news. The competitive grant was awarded by the New York State ConnectALL Office’s Municipal Infrastructure Program, after an extensive review process. Dryden Fiber is the only municipally owned and operated internet service provider in New York State.
On February 7th, 2024, WSKG aired (during Morning Edition) and posted a story about rural communities and getting residents online. The story features Dryden Fiber with comments by Town Supervisor Jason Leifer, Deputy Town Supervisor Dan Lamb, and chair of the Tompkins County Legislature Dan Klein.
