The month of March brings the official start of spring and we’re hopeful for warmer weather to support the continued construction of Dryden Fiber across the town. Today, Dryden Fiber reaches over 1,800 parcels across town. Our goal is that by the end of the year, 100% of the inhabited parcels have service available.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for Dryden Fiber Expansion in the Town of Caroline

 On behalf of the Dryden Fiber project and our expansion to the town of Caroline, we are excited to invite you to our groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 12:30pm at the Caroline Town Hall (2670 Slaterville Rd., Slaterville Springs, NY). 

We cordially invite you to join us as we break ground on the next phase of community-owned broadband in our region. This historic event marks a milestone in bringing reliable, affordable, high-speed internet access to more of our neighbors. 

Cortland Standard: $9M grant fuels Dryden Fiber expansion plans

Now that the town of Dryden has been awarded a $9 million grant by the state of New York, town residents — and those of the town of Caroline — may want some answers on when they can get high-speed internet service.

Dryden Fiber Wins Unprecedented $8.9 Million Grant

Dryden, NY (June 24, 2024) Internet service in Dryden and Caroline will soon be vastly expanded, thanks to a successful grant submitted by Dryden Fiber, a broadband provider operated by the Town of Dryden. Federal, state, and local officials gathered at Dryden Town Hall today to celebrate the news. The competitive grant was awarded by the New York State ConnectALL Office’s Municipal Infrastructure Program, after an extensive review process. Dryden Fiber is the only municipally owned and operated internet service provider in New York State.
